If you're experiencing issues with the CleverCards app - such as slow loading, display errors, or trouble logging in - clearing the app's cache can often resolve the problem. The cache is temporary data stored by the app to help it load faster, but over time it can cause unexpected issues.
Clearing the cache does not delete your account, card details, or transaction history.
How to clear the CleverCards app cache
iPhone (iOS)
iOS does not allow you to clear an individual app's cache directly. Instead, you can offload and reinstall the app, which achieves the same result:
- Go to Settings on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap General, then tap iPhone Storage.
- Scroll through the list and tap CleverCards.
- Tap Offload App, then confirm.
- Once offloaded, tap Reinstall App.
Your login credentials and card details are stored securely and will not be affected.
Android
Steps may vary slightly depending on your device manufacturer (Samsung, Google Pixel, etc.), but the process is broadly the same:
- Go to Settings on your Android device.
- Tap Apps (sometimes shown as Applications or App Manager).
- Find and tap CleverCards in the list.
- Tap Storage, then tap Clear Cache.
You do not need to clear your data — clearing the cache alone is usually enough to fix most issues.
Still having trouble?
If clearing the cache hasn't resolved your issue, try the following:
- Make sure you're running the latest version of the CleverCards app. You can check for updates in the App Store or Google Play.
- Restart your phone and open the app again.
