The message "This card cannot be used" may appear for various reasons.
- If you just activated the card recently, card details may take a moment to generate which is why you are seeing this message. It should disappear within 10-30 minutes after the card has been activated.
- If your card has been locked or closed, you cannot use your CleverCard.
- Network or system issue: Occasionally, temporary connection issues between the card network, the merchant, or CleverCard systems may trigger this error.
