Who this article is for: Business Portal users who want to know which currencies they can issue CleverCards with.
Supported currencies
CleverCards can be issued in:
Euro (EUR)
British Pound (GBP)
US Dollar (USD)
While cards are issued in one of these three currencies, they can be used globally, in line with our Terms and Conditions. A foreign exchange fee applies to transactions made in a different currency to your card. See Fees on your CleverCard for more information.
Issuing in multiple currencies
You can issue cards in more than one currency. Each currency runs on a separate CleverCards account, so you'll need an additional account for each currency you want to issue in. You can log in to each account using the same login credentials, but they remain separate accounts with separate balances.
You cannot set up an additional currency account yourself in the Business Portal. Contact us at [email protected] and we'll help you set up the additional account.
