Why a billing address usually is not needed
CleverCards are digital cards, so there is no physical card tied to a home address, and payments are verified using your card details and security code rather than an address check. Because of this, most merchants will not ask for one, and there is no billing address stored against your card that can be changed or updated.
A digital card is a card that exists only within the CleverCards App, it is never issued as a physical card you can hold.
If a merchant's checkout insists on an address
If a merchant's checkout requires a billing address and the payment isn't going through, contact us at [email protected]. We can check the address details we hold on file, but we're not able to change the cardholder's registered address.
